Gecko Electronics is proud to announce that it is now certified to the Customs and Trade Partnership Against Terrorism program (C-TPAT).  This is an initiative of the US Department of Homeland Security as a result of the tragic events of September 11th.  This program was designed to assure more secure supply chains as well as encourage business trades at the border through a tight partnership between the government and private firms.

Certified C-TPAT businesses apply very strict safety rules, from receiving goods to shipping finished products.  In exchange, they enjoy the benefits of faster customs processing of their cargo at the US/Canada border.

To participate in this program, Gecko Electronics had to submit to US Customs Service a complete review of its supply chain security procedures.  This assignment required a comprehensive evaluation of its personnel, facilities and supply chain partners.  Gecko Electronics also set up an action plan designed to protect even more its supply chain against terrorist threat, communicate its efforts in that sense to business partners and comply with C-TPAT guidelines in its business relationships.

In taking part in the C-TPAT program, Gecko Electronics is, again, showing it is committed to providing customers with fast and effective delivery of its products.
